We went to Vietnam 4 months ago for my best friend’s bachelor party. Since Raghav is the first one to get hitched, we wanted our first bachelor to be grand. As a travel nomad, it was my job to plan the best trip for us four, and I decided on a Vietnam trip!
I often book activities or attraction tickets from Thrillophilia so I decided to check out their site.
With a variety of options in packages, I got so confused that I almost gave up searching. But that’s when I saw the Thrillophilia Vietnam trip reviews section and I was intrigued with the lively pictures and the positive experiences people shared. So, I dropped my contact information on their website. The next day, their trip planner called and told me that I could create a completely new trip from scratch or even customize an existing package to my liking. Thereafter, we worked on the plan over a few calls and created the best possible trip for 5 Nights and 6 days in Vietnam.
Ho Chi Minh City: The Start of Our Adventure
We kicked off our trip from Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City and the energy was just electric! Our hotel- The Reverie Saigon was an experience in itself- every corner of the hotel screamed luxury. I was lucky enough to discover it through a review of a Vietnam tour with Thrillophilia. During the day we went for a walk at the local market and at night we went to the iconic Chill Skybar and celebrated my man. To our surprise, there was a group of women celebrating a bachelorette too, so we had a spontaneous dance-off with them; we didn’t win, but the laughter and fun were just it.
Ha Long Bay: Luxury Cruise and Limestone Caves Exploration
I read a Thrillophilia review of Vietnam trip where the traveller posted fantastic pictures of a Cruise experience. Our journey took a rich turn as we headed to Ha Long Bay. We opted for a luxury cruise, and from the moment we stepped on board, we were treated like royalty. The views were just out of the world! the limestone mountains seemed like diamonds floating in the emerald water! We kayaked through hidden caves and visited 2 floating villages. The best part was the private seafood feast we had on a secluded beach. As the sun set, we gathered on the deck with a bottle of champagne and drank our night out in fun!
Nha Trang: Water Activities and Beaches
Nha Trang was all about the beach life. We stayed at the Anam and booked an activity combo for jet skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling as recommended in one Thrillophilia review of the Vietnam trip. But the real fun began when we rented a yacht for the day. We sailed around the islands and felt like true stars from ZNMD. We even dared each other to try parasailing—something none of us had done before. The adrenaline rush was insane, and the view from above was simply unforgettable. All thanks to our trip agent who got us quick tickets to the adventure place.
Da Nang: Our last stop of the trip
We ended our trip in Da Nang, staying at the lavish InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. We explored the Marble Mountains and walked through the famous Golden Bridge. My favorite part was our private beach barbecue the last night. We went all firangi and sat around the fire, roasting marshmallows and sharing fun stories from our college days. With all of us scattered and busy with our lives this getaway was much-needed to strengthen our future bond. Thanks, Thrillophilia!
